Motorola has bagged MTNL’s 2 million GSM line expansion contract for Delhi

Motorola has bagged MTNL’s 2 million GSM line expansion contract for Delhi. The firm was the lowest bidder with a bid of Rs 5.7 billion. The other bidders in the fray included Siemens and Ericsson. Out of the 2 million lines, 750,000 are meant for deploying a 3G network.
