Nokia has bagged a Rs 6.35 billion deal from BSNL to provide equipment for GSM/EDGE and GPRS network expansion of BSNL’s mobile operations in north India. This expansion deal is an extension of a $284 million GSM/EDGE and GPRS contract signed between Nokia and BSNL in 2004.
