The government has proposed a joint working group of GSM and CDMA operators to resolve all contentious issues between the two sides, including spectrum allocation, ADC and interconnection. The group is expected to be constituted in the next two to three weeks, and its report submitted by December. Apart from industry representatives, it will also include senior government officials.
