Brocade has appointed Colin Dixon as the company?s principal engineer. He has expertise in software-defined networking (SDN). Dixon will join the engineering leadership team of the software networking business unit at Brocade and focus on open source initiatives, such as OpenDaylight.
In the past, Dixon has worked with Open Networking Foundation, IBM Research, Microsoft Research and Intel Research.
