Motorola Mobility has appointed Amit Boni as general manager (GM) for its India operations. He will be responsible for leading the Motorola Mobility?s India team and the company?s go-to-market (GTM) strategy.
Prior to his new role, Boni was in-charge of Motorola Mobility?s GTM and sales operations for the Asia region. He has been with the company since 2010. In the past, he has been associated with organisations including Microland, EVS and Honeywell.
Motorola, now a part of Lenovo, has re-entered the Indian smartphone market in 2013 and is trying to regain a foothold in the local market through its Android smartphones.
