Vivek Garg has been appointed as chief relationship officer at Viom Networks, effective from November 8, 2013.
Prior to this, Garg served at Nigerian telecom operator, Globacom Limited as chief commercial director. In this role, he was responsible for mobility operations across Nigeria.
Before that, he was senior executive vice president and member of the wireless management board at Reliance Communications (RCOM) and previously held a number of other senior positions at RCOM including National Service Operations Head and roles with full profit and loss accountability. He has earlier also served Tata Teleservices Limited in an operating role.
He brings to the table over 25 years of work experience in the telecommunications and consumer goods sectors in both commercial and operational roles.
