Alcatel-Lucent has appointed former Vodafone chief executive officer (CEO), Europe region, Michel Combes as the company?s new CEO.
Combes is expected to take over his new role at Alcatel-Lucent from April 2013. He will be taking over from Ben Verwaayen, former, CEO, Alcatel-Lucent who had put in his papers at the company in February 2013.
Alcatel-Lucent has also named Jean C Monty as vice-chairman to the company?s board. Monty is former chairman and chief executive officer, Bell Canada Enterprises.
