GETIT Infoservices, India?s leading a Bangalore-based digital marketing company, has appointed Jaspreet Bindra as the new chief executive officer.
Throughout his career, Bindra has been actively involved in IT, telecom and FMCG sectors. He started his career with the Tata Administrative Services, and spent eleven years with the Tata Group, across the FMCG and telecom businesses of the Group. He spent six years with Microsoft India in senior leadership positions, heading its internet business and, subsequently, the retail, entertainment and devices businesses.
Bindra was also a part of the startup team of Baazee.com (now EBay India), as its chief operating officer. He has been part of several industry forums having served as the vice-chairman, Internet and Mobile Association of India and member of FICCI Media & Entertainment Committee.
Commenting on his appointment, Bindra, says ?I am really excited to take up this responsibility at GETIT, as I think, the company has come a long way from a background of leadership in yellow pages to transforming itself into a leading digital marketing company today. It is great to become a part of the company at this stage, and play a leadership role in its next level of growth and innovation in the digital space.?
