
AbsolutData, a global analytics and research firm for consumer packaged goods, retail and hospitality companies has appointed Chris Diener as senior vice-president.
He will lead the company has it plans to scale-up rapidly following a recent investment of $20 million in the company by Fidelity Growth Partners. He will be responsible for expanding the company?s global footprint and doubling its headcount over the next year.
Diener has more than 15 years of executive-level experience. He has expertise in critical areas like optimisation, management and marketing strategy, and high-level quantitative analysis and analytics design.
Prior to joining AbsolutData he was serving as the chief operating officer of The Modellers and executive director of the company?s recently created division, ModHub. He was also the founder of an elite marketing analytics company which served a client base of Fortune 500 companies such as eBay, Disney, Unilever, Pfizer and IBM. The company was later acquired by Omnicom.
