Nokia Siemens Networks has appointed Rene Svendsen-Tune as head of its customer operations for Europe, says news reports.
Svendsen-Tune will be responsible for the company?s sales and customer operations across Europe. He will also be on company?s executive board.
He will assume his new role at NSN from December 1, 2012 and will be reporting to the company?s chief executive officer, Rajeev Suri.
Prior to joining NSN, Svendsen-Tune served as chief executive at Teleca, a leading supplier of software services to the mobile industry (the company was acquired by Symphony Technology Group in 2008). From 1993 to 2006, he was associated with Nokia Networks where he served in various serious position including as senior vice-president of global customer and market operations.
