The global leader in software product and technology services, Persistent Systems has appointed Dr. Sridhar Jagannathan as the chief innovation officer (CIO).

Jagannathan will be responsible for driving innovations in products, solutions and services for the company. He will be based out of Santa Clara, CA and will report to Hari Haran, president, Persistent Systems, Inc.

Prior to joining Persistent Systems, Jagannathan served as vice president, chief technology officer, Intuit Inc., where he was responsible for leading Intuit’s technology strategy, global engineering and technology merger and acquisition  diligence. In the past, he has also worked with companies like Symantec, Softbank and Oracle.

He has 17 years of industry experience.
