CMC Limited appoints Ashok Sinha as an independent director

CMC Limited, a subsidiary of Tata Consultancy Services Limited, announced that the company?s board of directors has appointed Ashok Sinha as independent director with effect from July 11, 2012.

Prior to this, Sinha served as the chairman and managing director of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) for 33 years.

Sinha has a degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur and masters in business administration from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore, with specialisation in finance.
