
The BT Group has posted its results for the quarter ended June 2012.
The company registered a decline of six per cent in its consolidated revenue, from 4.76 billion euro for the quarter ended June 30, 2011 to 4.48 billion euro for the quarter ended June 30, 2012.
The group?s CAPEX has increased by seven per cent, from 582 million in the quarter ended June 30, 2011 to 622 million euro for the quarter ended June 30, 2012. It has registered an 8 per cent increase in EBITDA, from 533 million euro in the quarter ended June 30, 2011 to 578 million euro for the quarter ended June 30, 2012.
BT Global services? revenue declined by nine per cent, from 1.9 billion euro for the quarter ended June 30, 2011 to 1.73 billion euro for the quarter ended June 30, 2012. According to the company, the growth of BT Global Services was impacted by the tough conditions in Europe and the financial services sector.
BT Retail?s revenue registered a decline of three percent from 1.83 billion euro for the quarter ended June 30, 2011 to 1.77 billion euro for the quarter ended June 30, 2012. Revenues for BT wholesale witnessed a decline of eight per cent from 1 billion for the quarter ended June 30, 2011 to 923 million euro for the corresponding period this year.
BT Group?s division Openreach which manages its local network posted revenue of 1.25 billion euro for the quarter ended June 30, 2012. Its EBITDA stood at 1.46 billion euro for the same period.
