
Chinese handset maker OnePlus has launched the OnePlus 2 smartphone at Rs 24,999 in India. The device will be sold exclusively through e-commerce firm Amazon on the invite-only model.
The device has a 5.5 inch LPTS LCD display with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. The screen in protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and is powered by Qualcomm MSM8994 Snapdragon 810 processor. The device comes with a 13 megapixel back camera with laser focus and dual-LED flash and a 5 megapixel front camera. The device is available in two variants-16 GB internal memory with 3 GB RAM and 64 GB internal memory with 4GB RAM. For connectivity, the smartphone has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and microUSB. The phone also has features such as accelerometer, gyro, proximity sensors and compass.
The company plans to sell one million units of its two smartphones launched in India so far by December 2015.
