CMC posts its results for the first quarter of financial year 2013

CMC Limited has posted its results for the first quarter of financial year 2013.

The company has registered quarterly revenue of Rs 4.52 billion, an 11 per cent quarter on quarter increase and a 48 per cent year-on-year increase.


The company earned consolidated profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 584.3 million, an increase of 36 per cent quarter-on-quarter and 68 per cent year-on-year.


PAT margins stood at 12.76 per cent, compared to 10.32 per cent in the previous quarter and 11.32 per cent in the first quarter of last year.
