Revenues from the telecom business touched Rs 8.04 billion for the fiscal year ended March 2012: Sterlite

Sterlite Technologies Limited has posted its results for the quarter and fiscal year ended March 31, 2012.

During the quarter, the company earned revenues of Rs 8.09 billion and EBITDA of Rs 700 million. Profit after tax stood at Rs 440 million.

During the quarter, the company also received new orders valued at about Rs 70 billion for its telecom and power products.

Revenues from its telecom business stood at Rs 8.04 billion, at an EBITDA margin of 17.3 per cent.
