Tulip Telecom Limited has announced its un-audited financial results for the third quarter ended December 31, 2011.
The company posted revenues of Rs 6.86 billion against revenue of Rs 6.02 billion in the corresponding of the previous fiscal, registering an increase of 13.9 per cent and an operating profit of Rs 1.99 billion against Rs 1.71 billion in corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, registering an increase of 16.1 per cent.
The company posted net profit of Rs 773 million and a basic EPS of Rs 5.33 in the quarter. Better utilisation of the existing fiber infrastructure led to an improvement in the EBITDA margin from 28.5 per cent to29 per cent in the quarter.
