Airtel Uganda has appointed Somasekhar Vellapakkam Ganapathy as managing director (MD). Ganapathy takes over from Yesse Oenga who served as the company?s MD for the past five years. Prior to his current role, Ganapathy worked as the hub head and executive senior vice-president at Reliance Communications (RCOM). He has nearly 25 years of experience in the office automation and telecom industries.
