Xiaomi has launched the Redmi 2 smartphone in India. The device is priced at Rs 6,999.
The Redmi 2 features a 4.7 inch HD 312 PPI screen and is powered by Snapdragon 410 64 bit quad core 1.2 GHz processor. The smartphone runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system and comes with 1 GB RAM and 8 GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 32 GB using a microSD card.
The Redmi 2 supports dual SIM cards and has an 8 megapixel camera. The smartphone will be exclusively available on Flipkart beginning March 24, 2015.
