Mahendra Nahata of Himachal Futuristic Communications Limited (HFCL) has agreed to sell his 36 per cent stake in telecom service provider Datacom Solutions to the Dhoot family, which owns 64 per cent stake in Datacom. The stake is valued at around $300 million. Nahata has currently received a token payment and the remaining amount is likely to be paid in tranches. Meanwhile, Datacom has engaged Morgan Stanley to find a strategic partner to fund its rollout plans.
