Aircel has introduced Mobile Money in partnership with ICICI Bank and Visa.
The Mobile Money service will allow Aircel subscribers holding an account with ICICI Bank to access details of their accounts linked to their mobile phone numbers. The service will allow users to carry out financial transactions like cash deposits and cash withdrawals, money transfer to third parties, self-reload prepaid mobile credit, and make payments for utility bills.
Visa will host and fully manage all aspects of Mobile Money including consumer enrollment, transactions processing and authorisation, clearing and settlement of payments.
