ZTE Corporation has announced that it has received the 2010 Smart Wireless Award for Services from the CDMA Development Group (CDG) at the industry association?s Smart Wireless Workshop.  

ZTE received the Services award for its Shanghai World Expo Wireless Vehicle Monitoring Management System, an M2M application jointly developed by ZTE and China Telecom?s Shanghai Branch. Applied in March 2010, the system includes end-to-end solutions such as the M2M service management platform, video surveillance system, vehicle monitoring terminal, vehicle management and dispatching system.

?CDG congratulates ZTE on winning the inaugural Smart Wireless Award for Services,? said Perry LaForge, executive director, CDG. ?M2M is getting a lot of attention in the wireless industry right now, as 3G CDMA add increased value to innovative mobile services such as ZTE?s Wireless Vehicle Management System on China Telecom?s EV-DO Rev. A network.?
