HTC Corporation has joined hands with TATA DOCOMO to launch the HTC Desire in India. The device has a touch-sensitive screen with pinch-to-zoom capability, a 5 megapixel camera, 512 MB ROM and 576 MB RAM. It supports 3G, GPRS, EDGE and Bluetooth connectivity, and functions on the Android 2.1 platform. The Desire is priced at Rs 28,900.
