According to a report by Canva, 89 per cent of leaders of Indian companies are exploring tools powered by artificial intelligence (AI) to accelerate content production, despite being cautious of their technology spends in a tough business environment.
The report noted that nearly 73 per cent, or three-quarters, of the respondents have found that visual communication has increased business performance too. Some of the use cases of such visual communication tools include creating compelling presentations, engaging videos, and interactive data visualisations.
The report surveyed 3,707 business leaders across marketing, sales, human resources, and operations who have knowledge of company revenue goals across 12 markets, including India, the US, UK, France, Germany, Spain, Brazil, Mexico, Indonesia, Japan, South Korea, and Australia.
The report added that a majority of leaders, around 97 per cent, expect employees in non-design roles to possess some design acumen to be effective communicators in their organisations. Consequently, more than two-thirds (67 per cent) are now providing training to those not in design roles to meet a certain threshold of design competency.
