Meta Platforms plans to set up its first data centre in Chennai, India

Meta Platforms is planning to set up its first data centre in India at Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) campus in Chennai.

The 10-acre MAA10 campus in Chennai’s Ambattur Industrial Estate can handle up to 100 megawatt (MW) information technology (IT) load.

The MAA10 data centre campus is capable of supporting artificial intelligence (AI) language models.
