According to a survey by G2, 81 per cent of India-based buyers are planning to increase their investment in artificial intelligence (AI) over 2025, underscoring the “growing influence” of AI on purchasing decisions. This is higher than the global levels where 65 per cent of software buyers plan to increase their investment in AI software over 2025.
The survey findings noted that 78 per cent of buyers in India and 52 per cent of buyers globally anticipate an increase in their technology and software spending in 2025, and AI is expected to be a key driver for this spending.
Further, as per the findings, 75 per cent of India-based respondents and 56 per cent of all respondents reported their organisation purchased an AI platform in the last three months.
