3Com Corporation has clinched a sizeable part of a $9.6 million contract to deploy network communications infrastructure at the Bangkok Government Centre from Thailand-based Telecommunications Company TOT. The contract will see 3Com establish a 40,000-port local area network, along with other network solutions including the 3Com Switch 5500 and the Switch 9500 series of 10 Gigabit multi-service core routing switches.
