According to a regulatory filing, Bharti Airtel’s paid-up equity share capital has increased to Rs 25.65 billion comprising about 5.13 billion fully paid-up equity shares, after the closure of its rights issue share allotment.

The operator recently concluded a rights issue worth about Rs 250 billion.

Further, Bharti Airtel has said that the special committee of directors for fund raising at its meeting held on May 24, 2019 has considered and approved the allotment of 1.133 billion rights equity shares at a price of Rs 220 per share, including a premium of Rs 215. However, the filing did not reveal details of the entities that the shares have been alloted to.
