ITI Limited signs MoU with DoT for the year 2019-20

ITI Limited, a public sector undertaking in the telecommunications technology segment, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) for the year 2019-20.

The MoU intends to provide greater thrust to manufacturing of telecommunication equipments and boost investment in emerging technology products in the fields of broadband, internet of things (IoT) etc to enable ITI to attain higher revenues and profit. Meanwhile, it also aims to fuel progress of government schemes like Make in India and Digital India.

It was signed by Aruna Sundararajan, IAS, Telecom Secretary and Chairman (Telecom Commission), Department of Telecommunications and K. Alagesan, Chairman and Managing Director, ITI Limited at Sanchar Bhawan, New Delhi.
