NASSCOM partners with Karnataka government to set up a CoE for AI and data science in Bengaluru

July 06, 2018

The National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM) has set up a centre of excellence (CoE) for data science and artificial intelligence (AI) in partnership with the Karnataka government in Bengaluru. This has largely been done to develop innovations in emerging technologies such as AI and to take advantage of the power of data science.

The centre strives to support the small and mid-sized businesses by fast-tracking product development and providing them market access. It would work with governments and universities to provide upcoming businesses with the required mentorship, talent and skills.

According to the Debjani Ghosh, President, NASSCOM, Karnataka has been leading the information technology  revolution in India. This centre is required to accelerate data sciences and AI in order to make India a destination for global product solutions.
