Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited is aiming to extend its services to 99 per cent of India’s population by the end of the current fiscal year 2018-19. Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) in its annual report stated that Reliance Jio had an estimated 186.6 million subscriber base as on March 31, 2018, an increase from 83 million in 2016-17. The average revenue per user has been estimated at Rs 137 per month.

Also, Jio and retail business accounted for 13.1 per cent of RIL's consolidated segment earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) during 2017-18, an increase from 2 per cent in 2016-17.

Reliance Jio's total spectrum footprint at the end of 2017-18 stood at 1,108 MHz (uplink + downlink) across three spectrum bands and across all the 22 circles with an average life of over 15 years.
