Motorola to open 1,000 Moto Hubs across India
Motorola is planning to establish up to 1,000 'Moto Hubs' across 100 cities across the country. With this move, Motorola aims to strengthen its retail presence in India. The company has already opened 25 'Moto Hubs' in Kolkata.
According to Motorola, the next level of growth will come from offline channels and Moto hubs could push revenue from offline channels to 50 per cent of total sales over a period of time. However, no timeline has been outlined by the company regarding its plan to boost its retail network.
As per industry standards, offline channels account for approximately two-thirds of total sales.
Moto Hubs will house handsets, along with Motorola accessories like on-ear and in-ear headphones, Moto shells and covers.
