Atria Convergence Technologies joins COAI board as an associate member

Atria Convergence Technologies, also called ACT Fibernet has joined the Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI) as an associate member. ACT Fibernet is one of the largest fibre internet service providers (ISP) in India with a customer base of over 1.2 million. The company is headquartered in Bengaluru and provides high speed broadband services across 12 cities and towns in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Delhi.

COAI’s associate membership comprises companies that manufacture or support the functioning, promotion, research development and evolution of mobile communications services. Some of the other associate members of COAI are Google, Ericsson, Sterlite Technologies, GTL Infrastructure, Huawei, Indus Towers, Intel, Nokia Solutions and Networks, Qualcomm and Facebook.

Welcoming ACT Fibernet into the fold, Rajan S Mathews, director general, COAI said, “We welcome ACT on board as an Associate Member. Given ACT’s next generation triple play services solutions, including its Fibernet, Digital TV and HDTV, as well as fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) technology, we are proud to have them onboard as an associate member. We believe this partnership will add value to the industry and further strengthen government’s ongoing efforts to build a digitally connected India.”
