Tata Communications reports a 1.6 per cent increase in net loss during the quarter ended March 2017

Tata Communications has reported a 1.6 per cent increase in its net loss, which increased from Rs 2.57 billion during the quarter ended March 2016 to Rs 2.61 billion during the quarter ended March 2017. Further, the operator witnessed a 12.5 per cent decline in its net revenue which decreased from Rs 26.76 billion to Rs 23.43 billion during the same period.

Meanwhile, Tata Communications’ witnessed a 14,031.4 per cent year on year growth in its net profit for the year ended March 2017. To this end, the operator’s net profit increased from Rs 0.087 billion during the year ended March 2016 to Rs 12.32 billion during the year ended March 2017. However, the operator witnessed a 2.6 per cent year on year decline in its net revenue which decreased from Rs 105 billion to Rs 102.2 billion during the same period.
