Sterlite Technologies has undertaken a massive network-neutral fibre-to-the-home (FTTH) deployment in the country, wherein the company’s fibre infrastructure will be open, neutral and network-ready for any service operator to easily plug in and play its services over FTTH network on a revenue-sharing basis.

To this end, Sterlite has already partnered with operators - Bharti Airtel and Tata Teleservices, and an internet service provider, Spectranet, to offer services.

It is now open to partner with more mobile operators and Internet service providers to use its FTTH network to offer services to their subscribers.

Sterlite, has so far enabled more than 165,000 fiber-connected homes across six major cities including Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Chennai and Ahmedabad, and has over 50,000 active subscribers, as a part of pilot program.
